Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Vascular Technology
  • Graduation from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Ability to provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transporting patients as needed
  • Performing other duties as assigned

  • Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance
  • Technical skills to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment
  • Cognitive demands to manage frequent interactions with the public and customers and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Sensory skills to have keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
