About the Role:

Moxies is seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team. As a key member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify Identification and Age Requirements: Ensure that all customers meet the minimum age requirement for consuming alcoholic beverages.
  • Mix and Serve Cocktails: Prepare and serve a wide range of traditional and creative cocktails to our discerning customers.
  • Process Payments: Accurately process payments from customers and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain all bar equipment, including glasses and utensils, to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Develop strong relationships with our regular customers and provide personalized service to create a positive atmosphere.
  • Record and Balance Cash Receipts: Accurately record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Open and Maintain Tabs: Open and maintain tabs for customers throughout their shift, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • TABC Certification: Possess a valid TABC certification, preferably with experience in a fast-paced bar environment.
  • Food Handler Certification: Hold a valid food handler certification, preferably with experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, including a pleasant and professional phone manner.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and balance cash receipts.
