The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the surgical team, working closely with surgeons and registered nurses to ensure the smooth and safe execution of surgical operations. This position is essential in maintaining a secure operating room environment, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition, and that surgical procedures are performed under the highest standards of patient safety.
As a Surgical Technologist, you will bring your knowledge of sterile techniques, human anatomy, and surgical processes to support the physician during both therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training (68D - Operating Room Specialist) is preferred. For those without formal education or certification, additional skills may be required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Surgical Tech Certification is preferred.
- Additional Skills: For those not graduating from an accredited program, certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service skills, effective communication abilities, and time management skills.
