Disability Assessment Role for Licensed Psychologists

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team at MRG Exams as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you will provide disability assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

This position involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. The licensed psychologist does not make disability determinations; instead, they assist in gathering information that the U.S. Veterans Administration uses to make decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license, and meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
