Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Riverside Health System. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
  • Conduct post-offer assessments, including drug screening, color blind testing, and vaccination reviews.
  • Provide employee health screenings and services, including immunizations, blood draws, and medical illness/injury triage.
  • Maintain accurate records and documents all findings in electronic health records within 3 working days.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, Human Resources, and managers to ensure timely and safe return to work agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date on current regulatory changes and workers' compensation law updates.
Requirements
  • Program Graduate, Registered Nurse (Required)
  • 1 year RN experience (Preferred)
  • 1 year Occupational Health experience (Preferred)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire (Required)
