Lead Cashier Part Time

Job Summary: As a Lead Cashier, you will play a key role in generating maximum sales potential by upholding high customer service standards, maintaining store appearance, and minimizing shortages. You will also have a limited level of authority to conduct specific management register functions to assist store management on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales volume
  • Maintain visual presentation standards
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Sales Associates
  • Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks
Customer Service/Sales:
  • Ensure customer service is the #1 priority
  • Effectively oversee the cash register area
  • Understand and create awareness of factors impacting sales volume
Leadership:
  • Motivate and develop associates to meet goals/objectives
  • Demonstrate teamwork within the store and company
  • Take initiative and use sound judgment
  • Lead by example
Personnel:
  • Demonstrate professional image and conduct
  • Follow divisional dress code policy
  • Work as a member of a team to accomplish store goals
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours, as assigned by management
  • Ensure store staff is treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully
  • Involve store staff in accomplishing store goals
  • Take an active role in own development
  • Communicate staff concerns to management
  • Support all company/management decisions
Operations:
  • Execute specific management-level cash register functions per policy
  1. Returns/Exchanges
  2. Associate Sales/Returns/Exchanges
  3. Void Immediate
  4. Post Voids
  5. Run Tender Report
Ensure accuracy in all paperworkFollow all company policies and proceduresFollow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement ProgramMaintain productivity in non-selling tasksTake direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilitiesVisual Presentation:
  • Maintain store appearance to reflect division standard
  • Replenish merchandise on a timely basis
  • Have knowledge of store merchandise
  • Have knowledge of cash register, sales floor, and stockroom organization
  • Keep management informed of all merchandise-related issues
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed
  • POS set-up is timely and effective
  • Execute and maintain divisional marketing directives
  • Interpret and execute floor plans and guidelines
  • Be detail-oriented in maintaining displays
Training:
  • Complete applicable sections of the management training program


Pay Range: $21.30

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions on job advertisements in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills.
