Finite Element Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Finite Element Analyst to join our team at SURVICE Engineering Company. The ideal candidate will have experience with FEA and CFD methodologies, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing modeling and simulation techniques to develop advanced FEA and CFD methodologies. You will work closely with the defense community to analyze predictions of material/armor performance against various kinetic weapons.

• Conduct analyses involving predictions of material/armor performance using FEA and CFD codes.
• Develop and maintain complex geometries at the component and system level.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality results.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Computational analyst with direct or related experience in FEA and/or CFD in the areas of fragmentation, penetration, armor systems, and/or threat characterization.
• Familiarity with CAD and CAD software packages (e.g., ProE or SolidWorks).
• Experience with CTH (or equivalent hydrocode).
• Experience working in High-Performance Computing (HPC) system environments.

• Competitive salary range: $95,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and education.
