Pediatric Neurosurgery Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Neurosurgery team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of care plans.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
