Responsibilities:
The Telemetry Nurse Supervisor is accountable for the quality of care and staff performance during their shift.
Assists the Department Director in overseeing daily operations, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel while ensuring optimal use of time, equipment, and resources.
Ensures the efficient functioning of the department. Provides direct patient care as necessary within the scope of practice. Continuously assesses patient care and guides staff to implement necessary adjustments in care plans. Effectively communicates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current status.
Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current status.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C or PCCN certification within 2 years of hire preferred.
