EDM Specialist

We are seeking a skilled EDM Specialist to join our team at Basic Carbide Corporation. As an EDM Specialist, you will be responsible for conventional and wire EDM operations to produce high-quality tungsten carbide preforms.

• Operate Sodick machines to precision-machine tungsten carbide preforms to specified sizes.
• Load and remove parts ranging in weight from several ounces to several hundred pounds.
• Perform machining tasks in a standing position for 9-12 hours per day with regular breaks.
• Manual manipulation of parts and precision measurement equipment, including gauge blocks, micrometers, and indicators.

• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measurement equipment.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
