Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on truck systems, including brakes, transmissions, and engines.
  • Ensure the operational safety and efficiency of trucks, loaders, and lift trucks.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of maintenance professionals to uphold high standards of service and vehicle performance.
  • Conduct services and repairs in compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using computer diagnostic equipment.
  • Recommend vehicle replacements or repairs based on assessments to supervisors.
  • Maintain necessary certifications to perform DOT inspections and other required services.
  • Handle all repairs and services with attention to detail and safety in mind.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in truck and machinery repair, acquired through on-the-job training, military experience, or formal schooling.
  • Knowledge of various truck systems and ability to maintain and repair them effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer diagnostics and repair technology.
  • Relevant certifications required for DOT inspections and service compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling tasks with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and job performance.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Total compensation ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, with opportunities for weekly bonuses and consistent overtime.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical (90% of employee-only premium company paid), dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
