We are looking for a Healthcare Receptionist to become a vital part of our organization. The successful candidate will possess experience with telecommunication systems and demonstrate the ability to manage urgent situations with composure and professionalism.Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical front office setting.
Compensation: $15-$16/HR, depending on experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, Full-Time, Temp to Hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Handle incoming calls and route them to the correct department or individual.
- Coordinate patient appointments efficiently.
- Confirm patient insurance details.
- Collect co-payments and payments for services provided.
- Maintain patient medical records in a systematic and confidential manner.
- Address emergency situations with poise and efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
