About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Bike Guide to join our team at Neilson Active Holidays. As a Bike Guide, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and enjoyable cycling experience to our guests in various Mediterranean resorts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality cycling program that meets the needs and expectations of our guests.
  • Provide expert guidance and instruction to guests of varying skill levels and ages.
  • Ensure the maintenance, repair, and security of all Neilson equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and informative rides that cater to different fitness levels and interests.
  • Actively promote the cycling program to increase participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Assist with training new staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure the highest standard of health and safety is maintained at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: MIAS fundamentals, Level 1 or 2 Bike Leader or equivalent.
  • Cytech Level 1 or above would be beneficial.
  • Extensive personal knowledge of bike maintenance and repair.
  • An understanding of current cycling developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work all required hours with your team to get the job done well.
  • Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe, and informative tuition.
  • The ability to confidently hold a conversation and instruct in English.
  • The ability to work well, independently, as part of a team, and to maintain effective working relationships.
