Adjunct Faculty - Graduate Nursing

Position Overview:

The Department of Health Sciences and Nursing is looking for adjunct faculty members to teach in the Graduate Nursing curriculum. We are considering candidates for potential openings in upcoming semesters.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a terminal degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) either completed or in progress.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in one of the following specialties: AGPCNP, ANP, FNP, GNP, PMHNP.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • At least one year of documented teaching experience.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Current engagement in the Nurse Practitioner role.
  • Experience teaching diverse student populations and demonstrated expertise in the nursing field.
  • Ability to employ student-centered teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in online teaching.
  • Prior teaching experience in graduate nursing programs.
