We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Greater Regional Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient cardiopulmonary status and implement therapies to improve outcomes
- Analyze patient charts, including labs, imaging, and medical history
- Manage and maintain artificial airways, perform tracheal suctioning, and apply oxygen devices
- Assist in rapid response and code situations, perform arterial blood gases, and administer aerosolized medications
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation in Epic, schedule outpatient visits, and educate various disciplines
- Registered by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- 2+ years' experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to work independently and with various disciplines
- Current Iowa License
