Logistics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Expert to join our team at Sedulous Consulting Services LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

• Develop and maintain logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support independent project leaders and test managers in developing recommended parts lists and coordinating parts, supply, and maintenance support for testing.
• Analyze test incident reports and recommend changes to parts lists, supply support, and maintenance support plans.
• Conduct modeling and simulation analysis of life cycle support strategies for all vendor products.
• Plan, develop, and update supply chain strategic forecasting to optimize vehicle availability and reduce downtime.
• Conduct and provide parts statistical demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment forecasting, and plan inventory management.
• Monitor trends and conduct studies in logistics modeling.
• Propose recommended ways to gather, cleanse, and analyze complex data to develop and manage multiple data sets.
• Develop methods to analyze, manipulate, update, and optimize multiple complex models.
• Assist in the evaluation of new modeling and simulation tools, technologies, and business process applications to identify improvements.
• Provide recommendations concerning the use of measurement tools for assessing system and component field support.

• High School Diploma
• Desired minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics
• Experience with DOD/Federal acquisition disciplines
• Ability to maintain work schedules, quality of deliverables/service, and interface with customer
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Visio experience preferred
• Supply background required
• Secret clearance required
