Assembly and Packaging Specialist

About QTS

The Role

We are seeking an Assembly and Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing assembly and packaging of components into products for the medical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, assemble, and package medical devices and components
  • Operate tray, band, and impulse sealers
  • Clean work areas and components using chemicals as needed
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and regulations
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow OSHA guidelines
  • Document job tasks and activities
  • Assist with weekly cleaning of production areas and common spaces

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to work 2nd shift hours (Monday-Thursday 2:45pm-1:15am CT)
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to sit and stand for long periods
  • Able to work in a clean room environment with chemicals
