VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Inc. is seeking dedicated per diem Certified Nursing Assistants to provide essential support in our healthcare services.

Qualifications

  • Current State of Vermont Nursing Assistant Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
  • Open to both experienced and new graduates
  • Minimum age of 18 years

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or licensed Therapist, your duties will include:

  • Receiving daily patient assignments and executing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Gathering patient and family information and promptly reporting findings to the supervising RN or Therapist.
  • Facilitating effective communication with patients regarding their care.
  • Performing various patient care tasks, including assistance with daily living activities, vital sign monitoring, and mobility support.
  • Advocating for patient care to ensure that services are sensitive to the specific needs of each individual and their family.
  • Reporting any changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Work Schedule

Flexibility is required, including participation in weekend and holiday rotations.
