Position: Painter - Franklinton, NC

Overview of the Role:

The role of the industrial painter involves a range of responsibilities including surface preparation, painting, and high-pressure washing. This position is temporary, with an expected duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including I beams, ground tanks, and handrails.
  • Utilize pressure washing techniques to eliminate heavy rust.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in industrial painting.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically.
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess sufficient strength and endurance to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven surfaces.
  • Must have a full range of motion appropriate for the role.
  • Capability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alerts from colleagues and alarms.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination necessary for working at heights and on uneven terrain.
  • Safety footwear is mandatory.
