We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships for a variety of clients, including Fortune 100 companies and emerging businesses.
  • Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience, manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, build and manage client relationships, and advise clients on delivering high-quality tax service and advice.
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
  • Engage in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.
  • Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships, and strong knowledge of ASC 740.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
