Field Reliability Engineering Technician, High Voltage Battery Specialist

The Field Reliability Team at Tesla is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing a variety of technical tasks to support ongoing failure analysis activities. This is a contributor role that includes extensive hands-on work focused on failure analysis and root cause activities.
Responsibilities- Coordinate incoming hardware sent back for failure analysis and inspection
- Perform sample preparation and inspection on a variety of electrical and electromechanical systems
- Triage hardware for issues as requested by engineers and support root cause analysis
- Execute experiments to test theories about failure cause and use analytical tools and techniques
- 1+ Year of industry experience in an analytical lab or similar manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent fine motor skills, including soldering and probing PCBAs
- Strong demonstrable experience with electrical test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, and other common equipment

Expected compensation for this position is $28.80 - $56.40/hour, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
