Behavior Analyst Position

Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA) is a leading regional governmental agency providing special education support to 68 school districts across Northwestern Illinois. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) works 180 days per year for 7.5 hours daily and earns a competitive salary, ranging from $54,727 to $104,303, based on experience.

As a BCBA with NIA, you'll engage with diverse student populations to provide positive strategies for managing and improving challenging behaviors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver direct behavioral interventions to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), addressing behavior concerns and skill deficits.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and strategies that support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records, documenting all services, data collection, and progress related to behavior interventions, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in behavior analysis, behavior management, and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to ensure appropriate accommodations and support for students.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in behavior analysis, special education, and related fields.
