About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at CarMax. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, reconditioning, and repairing vehicles to ensure our customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues
  • Recondition vehicles to meet CarMax's high standards
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve technical problems
  • Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
Requirements
  • Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
