Job Title: Nurse Leader

Job Summary:

Atlantic General Hospital Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with the goal of transitioning to our Intensive Care Unit. As a Nurse Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in the hospital's Pathway to Excellence program, which focuses on creating a positive practice environment and empowering staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Contribute to the hospital's quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and professional development
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Active RN licensure and Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
