The Opportunity: The Marine Corps requires a dedicated information technology integration team to enhance operations in both garrison and tactical settings. Our support for Microsoft Office 365 applications aims to maximize capabilities as the I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and the USMC leverage cloud platform services. This role is crucial for the seamless integration of command, control, communication, and computer (C4) systems, ensuring effective information exchange across the I MEF Command Element and Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), while providing essential staff support for Command and Control (C2) system operations, coordination, and execution in alignment with the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).
Career Development: At JCTM, we value the combination of knowledge, experience, integrity, and determination. By becoming part of JCTM, you will be part of a culture that empowers individuals and emphasizes doing what is right.
Key Responsibilities: The successful Systems Integrator will play a vital role in supporting staff sections by coordinating and resolving conflicts related to C4 systems integration with higher, adjacent, and supporting organizations within the Department of Defense, which may impact the MAGTF command and control network and critical systems as identified by I MEF stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with I MEF staff sections to manage projects related to C2 systems and information technology, supporting both garrison and tactical operations.
- Providing strategic recommendations to align and prioritize resources and assets, while coordinating with each staff section to understand their C2 application requirements, including programs of record such as the Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation (JTCW) and Tactical COP Server (TCS).
- Assisting staff sections in identifying and prioritizing information exchange requirements and related systems that support various phases of exercises and operations, particularly in a Denied or Degraded Environment (C2D2E).
- Contributing to the development and execution of relevant Information Management Concept of Operations (CONOPS), plans, and annex U, while ensuring governance and oversight on the employment and integration of C2 systems in accordance with I MEF techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP).
- Advising on the creation of Technical Directives (TECHDIRs) and Operational Directives (OPDIRS) to aid in the resolution of conflicts within the C2 communications architecture.
- Developing and assessing operational metrics, analyzing feedback, and recommending the integration and application of new technologies.
Impactful Work: Utilize your skills, knowledge, and experience to drive change and facilitate training within the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Your contributions will play a direct role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation.
Advanced Technology: Expand your capabilities while working in direct support of the DoD, optimizing emerging technologies and methodologies for effective implementation across multiple levels.
Professional Growth: Work alongside a diverse group of technical and functional experts, gaining hands-on experience with advanced technologies, emerging tools, and strategic-level implementation.
Qualifications:
- SECRET Clearance
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (Exam MS-900) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner Certification.
- 4+ years of experience as a commissioned or staff non-commissioned officer in military operations at an operational or joint level, specifically within the MEF, Major Subordinate Command (MSC), or Marine Forces (MARFOR) Level. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.
- 4+ years of IT project management experience.
- Familiarity with staff processes and battle drills at a higher headquarters level, specifically at the MEF MSC or MARFOR Level. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.
- Knowledge in the integration of Intelligence, Maneuver, Fires, Logistics, and Collaborative C2 Systems, with a working understanding of MEF Operational Orders and processes, including IM system requirements from Annex K, U, and B of the MEF Operational Order.
