Job Summary

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs and promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, and delegation of tasks to other healthcare team members. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Education and Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advance your nursing skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to pursuing a BSN.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical setting.
  • Licensure: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any other certifications required by the facility or unit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
  • Experience: At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical setting.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications in medical surgical nursing or other relevant areas.
