Job Summary:The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care, including grooming, bathing, and assisting with daily living activities
- Prepare patient rooms with necessary items and equipment
- Assist patients with eating and taking medications
- Monitor patient vitals and behavior, reporting to nursing and medical staff as needed
- Assist patients with mobility needs, including transferring from wheelchair to bed
- Turn or adjust patients in bed to prevent bedsores or discomfort
- Exercise patients by helping them walk
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current, unrestricted CNA license in the state of California
- 1+ years of experience evaluating, assessing, and providing patient care
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records and mobile technology
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function
