We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Physician to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our Department of Pathology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care services, conducting complex diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform gross descriptions, dissections, photography, tissue sampling, microscopic examination, and reporting of findings in a timely manner.
- Conduct Frozen Section and Rapid On-Site diagnoses as needed.
- Participate in educational activities for pathology residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and site disease group meetings.
- Maintain high standards of professional services to ensure JCAHO/CAP/CLIA accreditation.
- Must be an M.D. or D.O. who is Board Certified or Board eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
