Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The successful candidate will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They will prepare patients for procedures, position them safely and accurately, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images.

This role requires one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist, valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations, and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include Current ARRT Certification and other certifications and licenses may be required.

Essential Work Functions:

  • Operate CT equipment to produce accurate anatomical and pathological images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position them appropriately.
  • Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology accurately.
  • Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Maintain CT equipment, document patient information, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
  • Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Technologist practice.
