Pulmonology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonology Specialist to join our team at Tryon Medical Partners. As a dynamic and compassionate healthcare professional, you will lead the respiratory care of our patients, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, including severe allergies, chronic lung diseases, and breathing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Diagnose and treat conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.
- Interpret and use pulmonological exams and tests, including CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient appointments, including comments, prescribed treatments, and test results.
- Refer patients to cardiothoracic surgeons when necessary and advise on risk status and interventions.
- Provide support and guidance to patients receiving long-term care.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Physical Science, or related field.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of the USMLE certification process.
- Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and Pulmonology.
- Valid North Carolina medical license.
- 3-7 years of internship and clinical residency training in Pulmonology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
