**Job Title:** Dishwasher Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at Seesaw's Lodge. As a Dishwasher Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen.

Main Responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes, carry clean dishes to the cook's line, and store them properly.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.
• Set up or break down the dishwashing area.
• Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Assemble and disassemble the dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Notify the manager if the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing your hands first.

Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a related role is preferred.

Work Environment: This role operates in a kitchen environment, which can be physically demanding. You will be frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, garbage disposals, and cleaning chemicals.
