Registered Nurse Mid Shift Part Time 11 AM Alternating Weekend

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Long Island Community Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to meet the holistic needs of our patients.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient health data to inform treatment plans
- Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote continuity of care
- Document patient progress and revise plans as needed
- Participate in the orientation process of new employees and contribute to the professional development of peers
- Current New York State license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families
- Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written format
- Analytical ability to assess and develop solutions to clinical situations or unit problems
- Maintains knowledge and proficiency in the clinical area and age group served
