Job SummaryThis is a PRN opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Assist physical therapists in direct patient care according to their respective plans of care, preparing engaging exercises and activities to use during physical therapy sessions with patients.
- Counseling and Consultations: Provide counseling and consultations for new patients, their family members, and caregivers, following goals and objectives for patients set by the physical therapist.
- Patient File Review: Review the patient's file prior to their appointment, having a clear understanding of the challenge to be addressed, and complete required documentation in a reasonable timely manner.
- Licensure: Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Skills and Qualifications: Associate degree in Physical Therapy required, proficient in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation, and knowledge of HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to work primarily in a standing position and lift at least 50 lbs.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
