Job Summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Supervisor to oversee the receiving and shipping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of shipments, as well as supervising employees engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Oversee the inspection of goods received and ensure compliance with shipping specifications
  • Direct the movement of shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas
  • Compile records of unfilled orders and post weight and shipping charges
  • Provide supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to shipping personnel

Requirements

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience
