Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembler Lead to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the assembly of interior doors, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and assign work tasks among assembly team members to meet daily, weekly, and project production goals.
  • Perform job tracking and reporting, overseeing the efficiency and output of the assembly team.
  • Train new assembly team members in component assembly work, including assembly techniques, tool usage, and safety guidelines.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying product models and production requirements.
  • Clean equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of component assembly experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing production requirements.
Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures.
