About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at SPX. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems in our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment, including wiring, motors, and electrical mechanisms
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues to prevent equipment downtime
  • Lay out and direct work of helpers and assist lower-scale electricians
  • Maintain and repair control equipment on production machines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Journeymen Card or equivalent amount of experience/education
  • Proficient in reading and writing
  • Previous foundry experience a plus
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Use of hand and power tools

  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $31.37
  • Additional yearly rate increase every June 1st
  • $0.40 differential per hour worked for 3rd shift or $0.35 differential per hour worked on 2nd shift
