About the Role
Papa Murphy's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and stock control.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, food safety, and customer service standards.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection of new staff, including conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations.
- Supervise and operate the store independently in the absence of the Store Manager.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of previous supervisory and QSR management experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and POS.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for long periods of time and regularly lift and/or move 25-30 pounds.
- Good written and oral communication skills and ability to maintain regular attendance.
