Soccer coach for children aged 2-5 sought after by Challenger Sports.
**What is TinyTykes?**
TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-5. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through engaging games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 minutes each.
Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow, which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
Coaches will be responsible for leading 45-minute classes, teaching soccer skills and games to children aged 2-5, and creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
Coaches will also be required to work in a team environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and parents, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
**Requirements**
Must have experience working with children of this age group.
Must have up-to-date current first aid procedures.
It is essential to be personable, highly energetic, and enthusiastic when engaging with children and colleagues.
Playing experience in soccer is preferred but not required.
Must have your own transportation.
Must complete a background check.
Must have US Work Authorization.
**What We Offer**
Coaches will be provided with uniform, equipment, training, and a curriculum to follow.
Coaches will also have the opportunity to work in a rewarding and fun environment, with flexible part-time working hours.
Classes typically take place at preschools and sport complexes and run for 8-week blocks.
**Compensation**
$20 - $35 per class (classes are usually 45 minutes and run back-to-back).
**Location**
Sessions are run both indoors and outdoors at various preschools and P&R locations.
**Times**
Classes run Monday through Friday and on weekends. Each class lasts 50 minutes per session.
