About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
  • Valid driver's license
  • Medical certification from the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
