The Logistics Operations Manager at Perma Pure LLC will play a crucial role within the Operations Leadership Team. This significant position will oversee a cross-functional team dedicated to supply chain management and collaborate closely with production teams to align with sales and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Oversight

  • Direct all facets of the supply chain, ensuring effective day-to-day purchasing, cost control, scheduling, and supplier relations.
  • Enhance and sustain process improvements by evaluating and establishing optimal practices for supply and materials management.
  • In partnership with the Director of Operations, coordinate interdepartmental efforts involving quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Guarantee that inventory control and accuracy are upheld within the financial guidelines and best practices of the organization.
  • Accountable for supplier on-time delivery, quality assurance, and material flow, including expediting, postponing, or canceling purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on customer inquiries and New Product Development initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Actively participate in the Production Management team, contributing to daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, as well as KPI objectives.
  • Work alongside the S&IOP Manager to ensure the monthly material flow aligns with production plans to maximize revenue and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Utilize MRP tools to ensure material availability for scheduled production orders.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure that manufacturing bills of materials, demand, and schedules are accurately reflected in the MRP system to support organizational success.
  • Keep the Production Management team informed about the status of purchase order deliveries and material availability to meet production goals.
  • Exhibit leadership capabilities to influence, empower, and guide staff in building an effective department while fostering collaboration among functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing Management.
  • Ability to comprehend technical details and serve as a subject matter expert in business processes related to order entry, management, and customer reporting.
  • Experience in managing ERP systems and other technical platforms across functions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and applications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Capability to train and mentor team members.
