Key Responsibilities
  • Provide music therapy consultations and services to patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • Develop and implement music therapy programs for active hospice patients and manage a bereavement case load.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to educate staff, patients, and families about the benefits of music therapy.
  • Work with families at the end of life to facilitate communication and understanding of disease process and experiencing loss.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-accredited university.
  • 2+ years of experience in music therapy, preferably in hospice or healthcare settings.
  • Credentialed as a Music Therapist (MMT, MT-BC).
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance.
