Position Summary

The role involves executing tasks related to converting raw produce into a finished juice product. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, managing produce bins throughout the processing line, overseeing the washing process, removing substandard produce, and operating the pressing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the washing line efficiently, including the Bin Dumper, Grinder, and Juice Press.
  • Manage the Drum processing line (Fluidor) effectively.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Follow instructions with a keen Attention to Detail.
  • Comply with SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP standards while on-site.
  • Maintain regular and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Solid understanding of production workflows, quality assurance, and safety measures.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage manufacturing compliance standards (GMP).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing production environment.

Knowledge:

  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous.

Language Skills:

  • Proficient in communicating, reading, listening, and understanding English.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to perform well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high product standards.

Working Conditions

This position requires work in a refrigerated manufacturing environment with temperatures below 40°F. Tasks may also be conducted in a dry warehouse setting with temperatures reaching up to 85°F and occasional exposure to freezer conditions at –10°F. Workspaces may be confined, necessitating continuous exposure to noise levels exceeding 85 dBA. Adherence to safety protocols is essential, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed footwear. The role requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.

Physical Requirements

Must be capable of standing and walking for the entire shift. Ability to lift and carry hoses, equipment, and chemical containers weighing up to 50 lbs with continuous motion is necessary. Must be able to push/pull 100 lbs consistently. The role involves navigating manufacturing equipment and facilities, including repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, and twisting. Climbing ladders and stairs, as well as working at heights, may be required. Must possess good manual dexterity and gripping strength to handle, grasp, and control objects. Occasional exposure to moving machinery is expected. Passing a Pre-Employment Physical is mandatory.
