As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team, working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Assist radiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state
- CT ARRT Certification required (effective 07/01/2015)
- Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Proficient computer skills
