About the Role

At Prime Healthcare, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team, working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist radiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state
  • CT ARRT Certification required (effective 07/01/2015)
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
  • Proficient computer skills
