Overview


In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of pharmacy services by effectively managing pharmacy technicians in collaboration with the pharmacy leadership team.

You will ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality technical pharmacy services, which encompass:
medication procurement, storage, security, preparation, and distribution.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring pharmacy technician productivity and cultivating an environment that promotes accurate, appropriate, and timely pharmacy services.

You will also play a key role in the recruitment, selection, and evaluation of pharmacy technician staff.

It is essential that all assigned pharmacy technicians exhibit a high level of competence, professionalism, and customer service as outlined by job performance standards and professional practices.

All responsibilities must be executed in compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of the health system and pharmacy department.
