About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Support Assistant to join our team on the Nursing Surgical 5NW unit at Corewell Health in Royal Oak. This is a part-time position working rotating shifts, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and support
  • Assisting with nursing procedures and treatments
  • Recording vital signs and documenting patient information
  • Participating in nursing staff conferences and educational opportunities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) or be currently enrolled in an accredited program
  • A valid RN license (or awaiting Michigan licensure)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience working in a hospital setting is an asset
