Lifeguard Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aquatic Safety Professional to join our team at the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our members and guests while promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere in our pool area.

• Provide active surveillance of the pool area to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of pool activities, including chemical testing and equipment checks.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Minimum age of 16.
• Certifications: Professional Rescuer CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid.
• Current YMCA Lifeguard or equivalent certification.
• Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness.
