About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts.

This part-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, utilizing independent judgment and responsibility for assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of manual and automated laboratory procedures, including urinalysis and urine microscopy.
  • Be familiar with all phases of the chemistry and hematology laboratory, including specimen processing protocols for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
  • Utilize computer interfaces and maintain a basic understanding of computer systems.
  • Work under the direction of the evening and chemistry managers to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in laboratory medicine or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training.
  • MT(ASCP), BB(ASCP), H(ASCP), C(ASCP), M(ASCP) certification, or equivalent.
  • At least three months of documented laboratory training in each specialty.
