Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing drainage systems for various projects. You will work closely with internal design teams and clients to ensure that the drainage systems meet the required specifications and standards.

As a Principal Drainage Engineer, you will be the primary interface with internal design teams and will take a lead role in all drainage and hydrology aspects of the project. You will also be responsible for overseeing the civil design team's technical deliverables and meeting project schedules from design through construction.

You will perform drainage and hydrology design and review of culvert systems for roadways, inclusive of slope elevations and calculations. You will also ensure the highest quality of engineering is put forth to meet all design criteria requirements.

This position requires a strong background in drainage and hydrology design, including project management or supervisory/managerial experience of engineers and designers. You must also have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to function as a leadership capacity.

Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak, and/or InRoads is required. Experience directing work involving complex technical situations is also necessary.

This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, which has been designing and delivering critical infrastructure for over 75 years. We work in diverse, collaborative teams to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure that improves communities and people's quality of life.

We offer a competitive salary range of $92,000 to $161,400 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays.
