Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate a semi-truck in compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures for operating a tractor-trailer with a Class A CDL. Accurately complete DOT logs.
  • Safely transport and deliver loads in a timely manner, managing time effectively to adhere to schedules.
  • Assist customers with unloading doors and related components, ensuring loads are re-secured after each stop.
  • Accurately count cargo during unloading and complete all necessary paperwork, reporting any discrepancies or damages immediately.
  • Receive authorized returns and ensure proper documentation is completed. Follow return procedures to maintain product integrity.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel. Conduct minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, colors, styles, and associated components.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration across locations and departments.
  • Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers with a positive attitude.
  • Exemplify Midland Values: Service, Quality, and Integrity.

Required Competencies:

  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills for interactions with customers and staff.
  • Sound judgment and ability to operate the truck safely under various conditions.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying doors and components throughout the day.
  • Ability to maintain focus in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must pass required DOT physicals and drug screenings.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Additional Information:

Extra work opportunities available as part of the manufacturing team.

Standard night-out pay without the need for tracking receipts for per diem.
