Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including aerosol therapy and airway clearance therapy.
  • Conduct spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, and methacholine challenge tests to assess patient lung function.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • DC License
  • 1 Year Experience
  • AHA BCLS
  • RRT
